What can I sell online?

What can you sell online? You can practically sell ANYTHING. From diapers to used jeans. From properties to microbs. You can hunts for jobs and manpower too. Again, it is all about asking the right question in Google.

A funny thing to note in asking questions in Google is the language you used to ask the question. Because the answers you'll find in the Google search will be based on the words you typed in the seacrh column. So if you asked your questions in Spanish, you're gonna get answers that are pointing towards a Spanish speaking community in the net. And the information you got from the results, could help you in asking a better question next, or better understanding of what people are looking for in the net.

Basic answers to this questions would be:
  1. Food. Like cupcakes or chocolate cookies or doorgifts for wedding ceremonies
  2. Services. Like typing or data entry or webpage design or blogpost-writing.
  3. Ebook. Make your own library!
  4. Goods. Unused items that's still functional AND look good
  5. Friendship. Thanks to social media, even a smile is for up for rent.
The easiest thing you can sell on the net is your time on the net. You can participate in online surveys, or fill in product reviews or write articles for whatever.

A fun way is to dive into popular market places like eBay or CraigsList or Mudah.com.my and to look at what's selling like a hot cake, or what's worth all the hastle for you. Find things you're passionate of selling back because you'll need the stamina to promote the product that you got, just in case it was a bad bet. This is what we call as reselling.

If you have a blog and you have more than 20 posts in it, you can network yourself with other lazy bloggers to form a team. This team, should be as diversified as you can be, will be clicking at certain blogs at certain time in order to give the ads in the blogs it's commission. Now, this is illegal and takes creativity in getting away from the internet police. You can also play the keyword game which making posts that uses latest keywords you can find in today's newspaper. Put relevant pictures in it if you don't know how to type. Many ways you can make money via blogging and mostly via selling products or placing ads in your page.

Search your house for unused things. Take out that old TV or that broken toaster. Can you repair them? If not, how much does it cost to repair them? Factor that in into your price later on. Once it's working/functional/look nice, take pictures of it and sell it in eBay or mudah.com.my

Search your area for people who can cook and identify that one cooking that they can make deliciously. Think of ways to pack them and if you did, you can sell them on the net. Sell them in bulks.

Identify your neighbors who are thinking about selling their cars/pets/belongings. Take pictures of it and sell them in the net with a price you guys agreed upon.

So far, all the suggestions I could find in Google for this question revolves around these things. Here's a good one, by the way.

How to create an internet bank account?

The idea of e-commerce is to enables you to transfer/receive money. To do that, you need an internet bank account. What we mean by an internet bank account is you need to have points where people can transfer money to you. Like a door. You must open the door to let the wealth comes in to you. Before opening one, you need to HAVE one. So you need to have an internet bank account.

It is always a good practice to do a little bit of research before you start ANYTHING on the net. Make it a habit to run through the keywords related to the topic of your interest. Things change overnite these days and we might miss how they do things or any news and updates that happend overnite.

To cut short your internet time, at the moment this article was created, Paypal seems to the name if your talking about a global presence or maybank2u and CIMBclicks if you're a Malaysian.

PayPal has offered its services to enable more Malaysian in e-commerce

I'm not going to explain the details of how to create an account in each of these names because you can ask that question to Google. Just bare in mind, always read the Terms and Agreement before signing up. There are a few things you need to be clear before signing up:
  1. Are there any monthly/yearly fee included?
  2. How much to they charge per transaction? Identify the ones that matches your product price range.
  3. Ease of use, service reliability.
  4. How well-known are they to your niche market?
Once you're clear with what you're doing, you can go on create an account. Now you have a door where people can send their money to you. Next is to tell people about that account.

CIMB also joining the bandwagon

...If you can find a reason for them to do so, that is...

Barang Panas: The new Malaysian e-marketplace

With the introduction of android phones and competition in providing the best internet broadband service, online commerce has not only become a reality, it become another necessity in today's world. One would prefer to pay their bills online rather than have to drive all the way to the bank, find a parking spot and wait in queu to pay a RM20 bill. Customers nowadays are more intelligent in terms of market price and judging good quality products, thanks to Google and other search engines that makes knowledge readily available at our fingertips.

To avid online shoppers, finding a reliable site with great products that are packed with excellent services, is tiresome. After relentlessly seeking the net for a site which is still alive, ensuring the product is as per our expectation is another story. But the nature in buying is customers need to find a product quickly. A very known online marketplace in Malaysia is mudah.com.my where you can find practically ANYTHING and you deal with the supplier DIRECTLY.

This is where WE come in. Tongkang Pecah or tokanbesar.blogspot.com or tokanbesar2.blogspot.com is a market place where we skim the net for "LIVE" online shop and feature it in this blog.

And we are going to create a list and keep updating it to ensure it contains the most liveliest online shops available in Malaysia.

Our aim is to provide better choice and visibility to consumers and to create a healthy online shopping community where we learn while we earn and have fun while doing both.
